GTMCO grows because our community believes in helping one another. Whether someone volunteers their time, shares their skills, or supports us financially, every contribution strengthens digital access for seniors, families, veterans, and disabled residents in Uvalde.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds — tech‑savvy or not. There’s a place for everyone.
Volunteer roles include:
Helping repair or refurbish donated devices
Assisting seniors during classes or one‑on‑one sessions
Supporting community events and outreach
Organizing donations and preparing devices for distribution
Helping with accessibility setups for disabled residents
We provide training, clear expectations, and a supportive environment where volunteers can make a real impact.
Not everyone has time to volunteer — and that’s okay. A financial contribution helps us buy parts, tools, accessibility equipment, and refurbished devices for families who need them most.

Every donation — big or small — directly funds free repairs, device distribution, and digital literacy programs for our community.
Local businesses, schools, libraries, and organizations can collaborate with GTMCO to expand digital access across Uvalde County. Partnerships help us host classes, distribute devices, and reach residents who need support the most.
Every repaired computer, every donated device, and every class taught represents a real person gaining confidence and independence. This section highlights:
